Goldman Sachs is in talks with American Express, with the former wanting the latter to take over Apple's credit card along with other partnered financial services, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing people familiar with the matter. Apple has previously partnered with Goldman Sachs to launch the Apple Card credit card in the United States, and later launched Apple Pay, as well as Apple Savings accounts that Apple Card users can choose. Goldman Sachs is now looking to sell these business relationships with Apple to American Express. In addition, Goldman Sachs is also looking to further transfer its credit card services with General Motors (GM) to American Express or other card issuers.
