Payment provider Stripe has announced a partnership with WhatsApp to allow Singaporean businesses to accept payments through Stripe directly in WhatsApp chats. Users can shop and pay local businesses directly in WhatsApp chats. The service does not charge any fees and there is no limit to the amount users can pay in a single transaction. ,Currently, some local businesses are already able to buy and sell using WhatsApp's payment feature. 目前，本地一些商家已经能使用WhatsApp的支付功能进行买卖。这项服务允许新加坡居民通过本地注册的WhatsApp电话号码，使用信用卡、借记卡（debit cards）或PayNow付款。
